Equity Partnership LGB Awards 2010; voting now open
There will be five awards this year, one specifically a 'regional' award. The awards will be presented, as part of LGBT History Month celebrations, at a glittery 'bubbly' event, with author Paul Burston, at the Midland Hotel, Bradford, on Wednesday 17 February evening. It's free but a ticket must be reserved - email admin@equitypartnership.org.uk or phone 01274 727759/79 to reserve your place (to include buffet at 6.30 requests must be received by 10am latest Wednesday 10 February).
There will be a BSL signer at this event.
In all 28 nominations for an award were received; these are listed on a nominations page.

Some other important dates for your 2010 diary
LGBT History Month kicks off with a special training on the month at the Equity Partnership. Among other activities during the month, Keighley will also have its own LGBT History Month Celebration on Thursday 18 February evening. There is a page with a full listing of EP LGBT History Month events.

The second Yorkshire & the Humber Regional LGBT Conference, and Bradford Pride, suggest some other important dates to put in your new diary. Regional Conference - 5 March, York
The second Yorkshire & the Humber regional LGBT conference is in York on 5 March with the theme 'Sexual Orientation and the Law'. Again it's free but reserve a place quickly as it's already booking up fast. You can download a poster for viewing on computer (1.5Mb).
Bradford Pride main event is scheduled for Saturday 22 May in Centenary Square. It will be supplemented by a number of other events over about a four week period.
